The game itself has a good pace and progression to it, so you'll never feel cheated or toyed with, even with a Dark Souls-like difficulty towards the beginning of the game.
Now, I know what you're thinking: a ported PlayStation VR game? How can this be good? Well, let me assure you that The Persistence on Xbox is definitely worth your time - the rogue-like elements keep the game fresh, while the story, which will take you about 10-15 hours (skill dependent) to complete, is perfectly timed and doesn't wear out its welcome.
